One day my PC crashed, ram, memory, hardrive all of it gone. So I had another one built and it has a ton of space. I usually play play a few video games and I have more then half of the space. I use my PC in the dark, expect without the light on. I'm a mystery so is desktop. I'm typically gamer in darkness but I'll add a pic of my tower.

Ouch. Yeah, my dad is trying to tell me to wait till that happens to replace my current computer.. but like you said, not only did your ram and such crash, your HDD did too.
I'm not going to let that happen..... plus, I think any of us who have shitty pre-built computers i.e. Gateway, Dell, HP, etc, from long before Cataclysm, are long over-due now for a Cataclysmic upgrade, aye? And I totally understand you playing in the darkness, I think most of us do, just the pics gotta show us what you have! Computer hardware porn nom nom.

For the love of scrollbars, edit out your ridiculously oversized picture. They invented thumbnails and resize options for a reason.

Make sure to turn the light on or use your camera's flash!

(also please shrink the pic or use thumbnails!)

I hardly call 80GB storage. I started using a 250GB laptop drive in my dekstop for media storage and it's already 80% full.

Yeah I basically ripped open my laptop for that drive, I don't have much stuff to store though! I download seasons/entire tv shows, store them on my 80GB then delete them as I watch them. Plus I don't actually have much installed on my pc

    Last year i ran with:
CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 945 3Ghz, BUT the stock cooler was insanely loud, spinning at 6200rpm!! (playing wow that is)
    GPU: Asus HD 5770
Mem: 2 Gig's of 1033 and 2 Gig's of 1333 both in different dual channel.

    Now i run with:
    Motherboard: Asus P8H67-M LX
    CPU: i5 2500k, love it.
GPU: Evga GTX 570 SuperClocked, just fine.
Mem: Kingston HyperX Dual Channel 4 GB 1333MHz

I warn you if you ever think about buying a AMD Phenom II X4 945, the stock cooler makes A LOT of noise, sounds like a freaking hair dryer, at least it did for me.

    My other stuff:
    Keyboard: Some compact Logitech keyboard
Mouse: Roccat Kone on a GLASS mousepad
    Mic: 10 dollar Logitech crap
Sound: Creative speaker set and Senheisser HD 202 headphones.

Works just gr8 for me, need a new mic tho but it can wait.
