I've been reading this thread for weeks now and I'm finally going to be ordering the parts for a build hopefully worthy of this thread.
Coolermaster Haf X
Intel Core i5 2500K Quad Core Unlocked
ASUS Maximus IV GENE-Z Z68
Noctua NH-D14
Corsair Vengeance Lowprofile 8GB
OCZ Solid 3 120GB
OCZ ZX Series 850W
XFX Radeon HD 6950 800MHZ 2GB 5.0GHZ DDR5
Setting up for Eyefinity in the near future.
Just ordered a Samsung Spinpoint, NZXT Hades and 4gigs of 1600 RAM. I was gonna do it the 25th but since the HDD plants in thailand are flooded I needed to do that now before prices went up, as they did on CDON.com and komplett.se. Next month I'll get my MB and use inergrated graphics until christmas when I'll buy a 560Ti Twin Frozr aswell as a new screen.
Stupid 750-1750kr per month.. I suck at saving so I have to buy parts every month.. :/
Ignore the orange glow if you can, I have orange and navy blue curtains...huge Bears fan
is that a whorehouse? i mean....the red light.....
I work from home, so I spend 8-12 hours sitting here every day, probably why it gets so cluttered so easily. The monitor on the right (with the bull peaking over the monitor) and the machine dwarfed behind the HAF-X is my work machine.
I live in Fort Worth, TX right now, moved here a year ago because my fiance lives here, but I lived in Chicago for the 8 years previously and in the northern midwest area pretty much all of my life until now. Hopefully soon, I'll be back up there, just need to convince the fiance to move...easier said than done.

Yeah, the camera didn't do a good job with the sunlight! It leaves the room with an orange tint because of the curtains. The rest of the room is covered with Bears and Cubs stuff too, as this is my "Chicago away from Chicago" room.
To celebrate page #200 and of course nearly 4,000 posts in the thread (or 100 pages for some of you -.- )... I'll update on what my setup looks like a few weeks after my getting a desk. Direct links to pretty beefy size photos.

oh shit this is my 4,000th post too! Hooray!
You are spot on. It works as well as one could expect a fan controller to work, I guess. Though I kind of wish I knew about the other fan controllers available way back when. It was more of an impulse buy than a planned part of the computer.... but it works. It does make an annoying beep when you touch any of the buttons, not because there is an error but just to basically say "your order is my command." :P I want one of the ones with the dials/knobs that you turn and has the LED circles around them. Those are nice and slick.

Oh I forgot to mention about the cables on the floor.... yeah. It could be better, but those are a lot of charging things that I need fairly constantly since my camera is old, my iPod is old (though that's charging behind my drumset), and I have a coffee heater plugged in. ;p
Does anyone know if it's possible to attach a cupholder to your computer case? Would imagine haveing it in the optical drive bay. xD
