    PSU: Chieftec APS-550C 550W 80+ Modular
    HDD: some old 1tb and 500gb hitachi's

The performance is just great, will upgrade CPU cooler later on, as intel's box cooler is the loudest part in the build, and might throw some SSD as those hitachi drives are clearly huge bottleneck in the whole system.
Btw, Arc Mini case is absolutely awesome!

Replaced stock cooler with Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus, cheap and increadibly awesome for it's price, highly recommend.

And, so i heard some people think 64gb is not large enough, but here's the thing:

full Win7 Ultimate installation with some software + wow 4.2 client, still 30gb free.
Worth noting that i recently cleared wow-cache folder, that may grow up to 10gb size, so if you even add that, that is still 20gb of space, wich is more than enough for a system drive.

64GB is not large enough for *some* people... however for others, like you, it obviously is.

    Observe:

I have the 128GB version and WoW is *not* installed on it.
SC2, Rift, Warcraft 3, etc, programs add up!

Buying a Crucial M4 in around ~2 months when they drop further in price (need a solid 128gb SSD), the Vertex will become a games-only SSD

Moar fans (why did I take the photo with the back fan missing? no idea):

"I bought a 128GB m4 Crucial SATA III SSD before it was cool!" That is going to be my new motto... because it's true.

Nice back fan missing! :P I love how the computer is looking, Xuvial. Are you really supporting that bloody 3 slotter with a fan? >_> I kind of want to copy you... buttttt how did you secure the fan in place?

Who said fans need to be secured? It's just sitting on some stacked rubber stands.

It's wedged firmly between the stands and the GPU, it ain't going anywhere :P

The 140mm is quite literally taped onto the frame, it's not going anywhere either!

    hehe, you mean modular. :P

Congrats! I really want a nice modular power supply like an AX from Corsair or an X-Series from Seasonic but first I must gain the $$$. You pay a premium for such fancy things.

thats kinda bad, how large are your hiberfil.sys and pagefile.sys? did you do any tweaks to free up junk space? there is a decent article about it.
    http://www.zdnet.com/blog/bott/windo...;siu-container

shrinking\moving pagefile from ssd and disabling hibernation instantly frees up a lot of space, depending on your RAM size. Mine result was ~14gb.

with a fast booting ssd and lots of ram you don't really need those features anyway.

Edit. Adding a picture of my old mutilated Acer for making this post look less off-topic.

It's a C2Q 8400 OC'd at 3.2GHz in there. Or.. there was. Also I switched the way of the CPU fan.
That's the same Acer case my ISA server is in. haha. xD

Finshed installing the AX1200 will do some more cable management later for now i'm too tired after work!

OH, and yes that coresair heatsink is upside down.. but since it makes no difference since the side case covers over the logo and since it was a one man job, and a hell of a job to get it on, i'm too arsed to change it the right way around.

Had it for a while, been stable like this and runs everything I want it to since I bought it almost 2 years ago.
    Not a bad considering it's under-volted 0.04~V from stock for a 1Ghz overclock.
(Changed out the tower from an old mid tower for the 800D/850W gold a few months ago)

Took pictures of the second system I'm working on here. It sadly still lacks a processor, which I'm probably getting somewhere in the middle of this month. After Skyrim, obviously.

For that reason the cooler is not attached either. I'm intending to attach that afterwards, hook the cooling block to the CPU fan on the mobo, then the fans of the rad to the manual knob on the bottom expansion slot there. Hence moved the standard fan to the second front slot. Excess cables are stuffed and tied to the bottom of the hard drive bay.

    Fractal Design Define R3

    Corsair H80
Corsair Vengeance 2x4GB (the big kind)
Samsung Spinpoint F3 (from the very last batch apparently)
    Gainward GTX 560 ti
    Corsair TX 650w v2
