There are both NAS and operating systems capable of handling that by now.

I got it for a shiny new 3930k that I ordered through a work connection I have, and ordered this motherboard as well:

I'm trying to figure out what mATX case I want to go with, and then what type of video card solution, among a lot of other considerations. I'm leaning towards one of Silverstone's mini fortress towers.

I have been away for a while, and have gotten my build together.

I will post pics of my custom desk and computer when I actually have the time to not be a mess.

    This took a few tries.

Used a gluegun to add extra security and some isolation.

Where it's supposed to go. The cable was originally around 30cm long.

Snug fit. Pretty happy with the result.

And... the picoPSU turns out to be DOA... Great.

Grabbed another set of matched ram, systems at 16 GB total now. If AMD boards supported quad channel it would be amazing.

You've probably answered this before Marest, but what camera are you using for the artsy pics you're taking? The resolution and focus are quite nice.

I am going to pick up another 7850 in a few weeks, almost considering getting a new power supply just to be safe for my Crossfire setup. I don't want my computer blowing up due to lack of power. I might just upgrade to the SeaSonic X750 for the headroom.

I crop down the resolution to 1920x1200 for convenience; not everyone here are keen on loading 3MB pictures. Proper resolution is 4912x3264. The camera is a Sony NEX-5N, with the standard 18-55mm optical lens. I upgraded from a Canon EOS 350D.

Yup, a real bummer - especially since I had already done a major part of the cable management. But that's what you get when you are naïve and don't do a test-boot prior to installation. Hopefully I get a replacement soon.

Using only one monitor with a 690 is such an overkill Unless your intending to play crysis at 120fps :<
Either way, that thing can almost run triple 1440p, triple 1080 should be no issue at all.

Have fun with your new little monster

Indeed! I shall have to search for a triple monitor stand that will fit my corner desk monitor shelf lol

    Nice setup.

I just google'd a bit about exactly what sort of a case the "3XS Vengeance" was (because your case is a 600T according to your sig :P) and it turns out they are some kind of service offering high end pre-built systems which you can customize....or maybe they're something else, I can't seem to find a straight result.

Did you buy that whole thing from 3XS or assemble it yourself?

All rigs and setups that people game with are welcome. Even consoles! (Albeit they will carry very little difference.)

    off topic sorry
My dad has a Canon EOS Rebel T2i (550D outside the states), that thing takes amazing photos, its like 16-17 megapixels (i think its 5184 × 3456 resolution). How are you liking the Sony, the NEX cameras have a nice minimalistic design to them.
