Painted some parts of the case to accommodate the new hardware arriving tomorrow. Couldn't resist painting the case to match the Gigabyte Z87X-OC motherboard. I will post more pictures once I get everything installed tomorrow!

Jakexe you setup looks like a spiders web, I would highly suggest cable ties for your setup ^^

cant actually see the extra 2 fans, can only see the 2 intakes mind you, but filters keep out moderate to large dust particles, the fine ones still get in, this is just in generally speaking, but nice , see way too many people going with the negative pressure route and not realising the fine particles always enter and its that which has to be dealt with positive pressure to be blown out, fine dust settles with negative pressure sadly or pulls in dust from any vents

    Storage is in GB/TB.

Otherwise, is that for you? Why ATX?

Why would I down/side-step to a 7950? And from a FT02 to a FD Arc? And a non colour-matched build for myself? Eww. Also, not enough hardrive space.

No, this was built per request for a friend a few days ago. Thought I'd post the picture and specs here seen as the thread has fallen behind 1-2 pages.

Did you like building in the Arc R2 Case?
I shifted my comp over in to it and a few upgrades a couple days ago.
I felt like it was a great case for the money, working pretty well so far also.

    Speaking of hard disks:

    not bad. could be better

I couldn't figure out how to make the extra ssd cache my storage disk so I gave up and added it to the raid set. Still holding the "do I just give up on magnetic storage" debate. Adding one of those super-cheap 4k displays for chat/music/movies/web browsers is also starting to look like a good idea - it'd fill the space above the monitors perfectly

I was thinking about using the 55" versions of that screen ~$1200, but I'd want to see one in person displaying text. Being limited to HDMI 1.4 at 30hz input at 4k makes it worthless for games but 1-2-3 of them could make for a really awesome workstation configuration for writing code, using spread sheets, or just browsing like 20 cat videos at once. Mostly I'm interested in xcode: it'll eat up 2x27" displays and still want more. 3x4k might be just enough space to get some work done, and at 'only' $2100 for 3 of them it's still way less expensive than a pair of 30" 1600p displays.

My pride and joy! Have cleaned up the wiring prior to booting, actually very pleased with the ease of wiring in this case!

just got my new headphones delivered today (AKG K240). The sound quality is insane in comparison to my old Tritton AX720. Everything is so clear and it sounds great across a variety of music and games. It's also really comfortable partly due to the auto adjusting headset and partly due to the weight. it's so light that when the box arrived I thought it was empty.

in the end I used cable ties to attach the mic and cord to the cord of the headphones. it's really convenient being one cable and it's still in the same place that it would be if you were to clip it onto your clothes. win/win.

    Outside the case.

    Inside the case.

This is the entire insides, but this was when I was using a 240mm radiator which doesn't work very well in the 500r, so I've switched to a 120mm instead which works much better and looks better in my case.
