I love my monitor (MX279H) bought it on impulse at Best Buy. Works perfect for a PS4/Xbox one combo

I have often regretted having spoken, but never for having not. -De Commynes
 I know the ref-cooler got slandered but imo it looks pretty neat. Keyword "looks" :3
For whatever reason you needed two copies of BF4 ;D
I'd also want to get in on mining, but I'm too lazy to crunch the numbers of when/if the rig would actually ever be paid off. Add to that that noone knows what might happen to cryptocurrencies two weeks from now.. Ah well, no risk no reward.
Hmm that is getting to be one popular monitor, I love the super-elegant looks. Asus done' good.

Oh really? You seeing it on other sites and people raving or something? :P
I must say I am pretty damn happy with it. Do I wish I could get 1440p? Yes, and I know I could, but I'm going to stifle such a large buy, I've bought A LOT recently and I need to save... I mean hell, I still need to buy 2 Dream Theater tickets and save for some merch, because yay favorite band next to Iron Maiden!
@Wries, you just need to work on getting your SSD-based storage up with your HDD-based storage.
Don't be. They've been parked in my second computer since, because frankly they're too damn loud for me to use for mining. Gonna have to watercool them I think, but that'll take a few days at least to get the parts for.

Nothing amazing by the standards here but it's pretty good for me imo.

@IzoGray Doesn't that hurt you neck to be always looking up at your screen? I think that would kill me.
Unless he was standing? Then he wouldn't have to look up so much. I've seen the occasional "standing" setup, definitely not common though :P

My computer today. Some stuff changed, some stayed the same!
2x LG 23" 1920x1080 LED edge-lit IPS Monitors
Corsair Obsidian 350D, I went down in size
Intel Core i7-2700K 4c8t @ 4.8GHz
ASUS Maximus V Gene Z77 mATX motherboard
Nvidia Geforce GTX Titan 6GB GDDR5
16GB 1600MHz DDR3 RAM
120GB SSD
3x 1TB WD Caviar Black in RAID0
Threw out the rest of the hard drives (no space in case for them), now either used with a docking station or gone to my home server.
Cherry keyboard w/o any cherry mechanical switches Mech-keyboards aren't for me anyway. Love both the look and feel of this one.
With/without cover. Crappy phone camera still crappy.
In front are two 140mm corsair AF fans.
Managed to fit a H110 in there. Gives good temperatures!.
HTPC (i5 3450S, Radeon HD 7750, TV-tuner capture card) and TV (46" Samsung) moved into a new shelf.
Hello there you lovely computer fellas ^^
Quite a long while ago I posted in this thread, this post specifically!
As time has passed this build has changed significantly, currently the build is evolving again with some upgrades and some heavy modding and painting!
The system speccs will end up being:
I7 4770K
Asus Maximus VI Formula Z87
GTX 780Ti
32GB Dominator RAM
2 Kingston SSDNOW300 240GB (possibly in raid)
A few other HDD's just for storage
AX1200
Apogee Drive 2 for the CPU
EK blocks for the GPU's
EK block for the RAM
Swiftech MCP35X
Swiftech 240 Rad
Swiftech 360 Rad
MO-RA 3 9x120 Rad(outside of the case, possibly in another room)
Lian Li 343B case (Slightly modified, ok very modified, ok I admit it butchered and frankensteined back to life)
So yes, do you want a long post showing off this overpriced project?
-Nidor
Trust me. It looks higher than it is from where I sit I don't bend my neck at all. I also pushed the mouse and keyboard table forward just to put it in the picture. I don't sit that close.
Yes I could probably survive without the MO-RA, but since I can place it in the adjacent storage room which is colder and there really isn't any good justification for having it why not?
My 4770K runs quite hot tbh, I'm going to remount it later on and see if I can push the temps farther down. But with a simple run in IntelBurnTest it hits mid 80's, running only the CPU/Mobo/RAM blocks.
The AX1200 I've had for quite a long time and it has been the most reliable PSU I have ever worked with, sure it's got waaaay more power than what my system needs, but I'd rather have a lot of headroom than struggle for power.
Anyhow, after work tomorrow I will see if the 780Ti's will hold up well on air until my waterblocks arrive!
