Finally got the custom water loop project started. Gonna take 3-5 months to finish, because this stuff is just damn expensive and i don't want to spent that much money all at once on water cooling. So one or two things a month.

    First 2 things.
Thermaltake Pacific PR22-D5 Plus Reservoir/Pump Combo. I like the look on this better then the EK and they perform the same. But with the TT you get brackets with it, so you can mount it just the way you want and i already have TT in my build, so the RES will just be pluged in to one of the commando controllers.

alphacool nexxxos xt45 full copper 360mm radiator v.2. After looking at reviews, the Alphacool RAD is just an all round better RAD, then the EK Coolstream PE 360mm

Next month will be the CPU block and some fittings
    AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D: Gigabyte X670 Aorus Elite AX: G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB DDR5-6000 C30 : PowerColor Radeon RX 7900 GRE Hellhound OC: CORSAIR HX850i: Samsung 960 EVO 250GB NVMe: fiio e10k: lian-li pc-o11 dynamic XL:

Bit thicker though, make sure you have enough clearance, depending on where you put it.

Currently playing Games on my LG V30, a1278 MacBook Pro, and Dell Latitude 7440. My phone is currently better than my PCs. Even the old rig in my Sig is inferior to my phone...

    Pubg
    Hearthstone
    Onmyoji
    Soul Knight
Diablo Immortal when it comes out.

Maybe d4 and wow shadowlands, if I don't get back into Classic. PCs are kind of an expensive hobby rn.

I have trouble with my PE at the top with some Noctua fans, it's fairly tight.

I googled it before i did the order and the nexxxos xt45 360mm can fit in the top. If you try to mount it in the side, you will have to do some moding first

First time posting in this thread i think, Thought i'd finally post a build of mine after years of looking through here =)

    I7 8086k
    EVGA GTX 980TI Hybrid
Asus Rog Maximus Code X Motherboard
    32GB Corsair LPX 3200mhz DDR4
    500GB Samsung 850 Pro SSD
    250GB Samsung 970 Evo M.2
    550W Antec Earthwatts Platinum PSU

7 Custom modified Nidec Servo Gentle Typhoon 3 pin 1800rpm fans that i bought off of some fellow on ebay. Ran out of fan grill covers, i know those are a bit old school but i like using them =)

Case is a slightly modified fractal R5 that i've had for ages now, Changed it to have TG and feet that're about 2 inches off the table for plenty of ventilation.

Looking forward to seeing it when it's all done. Custom watercooling looks dope af

Personally I'm saving up for a new CPU and MOBO. My 9700k just isn't really cutting it (Also I think the IHS is fucked, no waterblock will sit flat on it). I'm thinking either a 3950x, or possible a 4950x if too much shit comes up for me to save up properly

Thanks Hopefully it gets better in a few years when i'll try and meddle with custom loops :P
@Temp name i found that Alphacool has really good prices compared to other brands, while being a reputable one. Maybe i'll lose in design/fancyness but i have already the RGB fans so Plus they sell UV reactive rigid tubes :P
