Where do I spend them? I have just recently got high enough cooking and I dont know where to use them please help me, I will make you a cookie!

Right next to the stormwind daily giver.
Or if you're talking about dala, right next to that daily giver.

I assume that like the Horde quest giver, Bobby Flay or whatever his name is that gives you guys the quests, has an NPC by him with the recipes. Look for any <Sous Chef>

I was at the dalaran quest giver and I couldnt use the Chef's Award there, just the cooking awards

/pat I did the same thing the first day after 4.0.3a. Ran around Orgrimmar trying to find the recipe vendor to get a glimpse of what I needed.

So are the Dal cooking quests/awards useless? My cooking isn't maxed out so I'm doing both since the Dal ones require less cooking skill (375 or something I think, as opposed to 400/450) so I can at least get some food with buffs to make.

The cooking dailies in stormwind, from what I've seen, don't even require cooking skill to do, they might to get them, but not to actually do them. And I'm guessing that, like in Stormwind, the person to buy recipes from is right next to the giver in Orgrimmar.
