    New Rig

Advice required! How does this sound?

AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition
    Microsoft® Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
    Asus M4A87TD USB3
    4.0GB Corsair DDR3 1600mhz DHX CL9 (2x 2GB)
    500GB S-ATAII 3.0Gb/s
    22x DVD±RW DL S-ATA
    NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 1GB
    Antec Three Hundred Case
    500W PSU

From: dino pc (Gallant AMD-955 5770 model - slightly customized)

Looking for obviously as much FPS and as high settings as possible for WoW and other games and a bit of future proofing.

Looks like a pretty solid build to me.

It's a nice build and you don't need to upgrade probably in like 3 yrs or more if you take care of your PC right.

Do you have any information on the PSU? Above all else the PSU is the thing to make sure it's solid quality IMO.

£580 is a pretty good price for that, especially when that's VAT included (VAT is a ridiculously huge tax, btw). Comes out to $903 USD with VAT. Not bad at all for a pre-built.

Oh yeah, thanks for pointing that out, worth going with the Phenom II X4 955 instead of the 965 to put that cash towards a better PSU? (Would a 430w Corsair do the job here? - or am i going to need something more meaty)
