    Human Centipede 2: 8/10
It was much more active than the first, loved the gore porn aspects, more "holy shit" moments than almost any other movie i've seen. If you are into such things, I think you'd like it. If not... you'd probably be disgusted.

"Die Wand" which literally translated would be "the wall" tho i dont know if thats the english title as well.
I´d rate it to a 3/10 as a personal rating.

Why so low? Well the film has potential, the story would even had made up for a good well thought action film, but they decided to make a drama out of it. Sure the actress was doing a pretty nifty job, but still i didnt like it. Quite borin at times.

    Despicable Me 2
I had a whole lot of fun watching this, and the minions only got funnier, however overall I felt like the movie was good, but didn't get close to the first one. First off, I felt like a lot of the heart that the first one had was missing from this one (I understood the parts that were supposed to be the heart moments but none of them really clicked like some of them did for me in the first one). Now I am glad that they did take the progression story-wise and didn't tread on the themes of the first movie like many sequels do but it still didn't have the charm that the first one pulled off.

Now the actual story was still decent and entertaining, and it also kept me laughing through it (nothing major, but it was enjoyable, and those minions are really funny), and the three kids still had some charm (but I was a little disappointed that they were ignored to much to make the moments with them that could have been really good pretty forgettable). I'm not going to say the plot was bad (It is much better than many animated movies), it was just a little disappointing after how much I liked the original for its unique plot.

Now for the good note, because this movie honestly does have many good things about it (much more good than bad), there is much more of the minions which are again hilarious and it has very interesting character additions and keeps you entertained the entire way through. It also wasn't overly predictable (though there were some parts that I could see coming), I just wish they took more time to further develop the new characters and things going on with the children.

Overall, the humor is spot on, but, although the story thankfully doesn't tread old water, it falters on delivering a story that is as good as its predecessor. I still really enjoyed my time watching it though so 7.3/10. (Part of me felt like I should go under 7 but it just really didn't seem justified to me, even though anything 6 or above is a good score from me)

    Die Hard 2
    Rating: 7/10
Review: It's John McClane again to kick some terrorist ass. An entertaining movie and perhaps even a classic, but nothing too special about it. Best Renny Harlin movie (the others are kind of... crap) but not even the best "Die Hard". Very good action to enjoy in the evening and the humor also hits the spot. So the seven points are for the imagination and entertainment.

Review: Hilarious "horror" where a group of college kids clash with a pair of hillbillies in the middle of nowhere with disastrous consequences. If you've not seen it before, watch it - it'll have you in stitches!

It was an enjoyable action flick. If you like Zombie movies you'll dig it.

Review: Fight scenes were far too long. Henry Cavill is hot. Lois Lane wasn't annoying. *spoiler* Superman's dad helping them destroy the ship via his conscience was such an easy ticket out, and the bit with Laurence Fishbourne rescuing that woman was so pointless, lol *spoiler* . The CGI was great, just a shame they overused it in the overally long fight scenes.

I bought it expecting it to be terrible, it was with the "cheap" movies in the store. Was pleasantly surprised by a nice humerus take on the slasher genre.

Pacific Rim - 10/10. Awesome. Easily one of the most entertaining movies I've seen recently, and definitely a must-see on the big screen. I'd love to see it in IMAX as well. The visuals were amazing and the designs of the kaiju and jaegers were awesome. The characters weren't anything special, really, but I honestly don't care at all. If they were well written characters I still wouldn't have cared about them. With this sort of movie, I want to see big things punching other big things while looking awesome, and that's what I got. Will definitely watch it again.

Brilliant movie. Funny, excellent animation, fantastic and weird looking hybrid creatures (the tiger cub was my fave) and a nice message.

    Red Dawn - 5/10
Meh. Not as bad as I thought it would be, but it just felt sloppy and rushed towards the end, you also have to have a lot of faith that the characters could of done what they do.

    Identity Theft - 8/10
Really funny, I like the big woman from Bridesmaids.

The Adventures of Baron Munchausen (Terry Gilliam), Fun, fanciful, witty film, somewhat Pythonesque but it is better for being more ambitious - and coherent unlike the "Meaning of Life". 8/10

I usually enjoy most anything Colin Farrell is present in but the other cast members and the story itself were a very predictable letdown.

Got bribed into watching this farce by the wife. I couldn't believe how terrible this film was and the reality that one, my wife enjoyed it, and two, how terrible her choices in cinema has become.

Only God Forgives 8/10, was pure Refn so if you didn't like Drive you'll probably hate OGF. The violence wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be but I really liked the way it was done.

Left Behind, Film Series (2000-2005): Left Behind is being remade, starring Nicholas Cage, and is about to enter production this summer. After reading the book series 10 years ago, I thought I'd watch the films before the Nicholas Cage version hits theatres in 2014.

The series is based on the evangelical Christian book series about the rapture. The entire series really serves to "preach to the choir", so to speak. If you are not a Christian, or are at least not interested at the inadvertent peek you get into the lives/ideology of fundamentalist Christianity, you will not enjoy it. The purpose of the films might have been to reach the unconverted, but I very highly doubt it actually fulfilled that purpose (although arguably the books might have succeeded for some individuals).

The series deserves a solid 7/10. Interesting story, good storytelling, slightly above average acting (Kirk Cameron does a great job of being a spokesperson for his faith...there's something likeable about the guy, whether or not you're a Christian...his on-screen charisma carries scenes that otherwise would have been the quality of a made-for-tv movie special). Low production values and the (short) length of the films affects viewer immersion enormously, with little to no on-screen character development of major characters that made the books a solid read. The first film is easily the best of the 3; the third film (Tribulation Force) picks up steam, and leaves you wanting more.

I'm disappointed that Kirk Cameron and some other actors won't be in the remake. Tbh I'm not sure WHY a remake is even being done in the first place--the higher production values will help, but I doubt the film will end up as a blockbuster given the very strong religious message. It won't have mainstream appeal like Passion of the Christ had unless the script is very heavily modified from the source material.

If you're really interested in the films, I encourage you to read the books. But for 95% of the people who will read this review, they will probably appreciate neither the books or the film due to the strong religious content....if you're that 5% however, you're in for a good read, and a solid few evenings' worth of cinema entertainment.
