Back in the MC days, on my guilds first Rag kill. Main was a hunter back then. The T2 hunter pants dropped. Out of five hunters in the raid, I won the roll. To bad I didn't get to raid BWL and finish the set 8(

Got the 2 brewfest mounts in 1 bag.. and also the epic dagger in it :P

and ive gotten 5 Hyacinth Macaw this far, 3 of them before cataclysm. (when they still were expensive, and no i dident farm them, just random drop while questing)

I won one in a naxx 25, I was having a tryout for a good guild on my server at the time(2nd i belive) they had it on group loot and i won. let's just say atfer i won it. i was kicked from the group and didn't get in the guild.

Luckiest things:

Headless horseman mount in one attempt on my main. White hawkstrider less than 5 minutes later. and a phoenix hatching in the same loot. (already had the hatching. 2nd one sits in my bank waiting to become BoE (i can hope, cant i)

Tamed Jadefang on my hunter alt. 10 hours later killed jadefang for the tiny shale spider pet. 8 hours later (logged out on his spawn cause it was late) logged in to see jadefang up.... so i took a screenie of jadefang, with my hunter pet and the shale spider companion. SHALE SPIDER ARMY. I'll post it when i get home for giggles, I'm at work right now.

Was camping sambas for my hunter alt at the southernmost spawn point. got up and started spaghetti.... was AFK for about 15 minutes. come back and Sambas had spawned about 2 minutes after i got up. was still up when i got back. 45 seconds later, Nabbed Karoma outside Crucible. medium server pop. this was all during PEAK SERVER TIME TOO.

i actually seem to get A LOT of luck with rare spawns. I've gotten the following for myself or my guild members in the past month and a half:

3x Loquena'hak
2x Aotona
3x Skoll
2x Arcturis
2x Gondria (plus i killed one by mistake.... there was a moonfire accident >.<)
6x Ghostcrawler (something about being NIGH UNKILLABLE makes this rare easy to get)
3x Sambas
2x Karoma
2x Terrorpene
4x jadefang

Also, I've found (and killed) every World spawn bosses except the one in Twilight Highlands.

Got Two of the Raptor mini pets out of ZG. kept one, sold the other for a good chunk of coin.

Bad luck:
Had the Servers first Sunfire Robe pattern ninja'd from me in a Sunwell raid (when it was BiS).
after running Sethekk for the Raven lord for MONTHS, DAILY, i have never gotten a raven lord.

Never saw any of the rare mounts in Wrath. or TBC excluding the hawkstrider.

saw the VoA mammoth drop 5 times in wrath. rolled a "1" on every one of those rolls. I'm not kidding.


My Best bit of luck though, really, would be that over the past year and a half, I've been the GM of a guild where every single member is frigging amazing.

Killed one slime in Felwood and got the companion from the bag they sometimes drop.

One of those casino chars randomly traded me 900g.

First IIC 25 PuG on my warr, Bryntroll and DBW.

First time i reached 2050 rating in 3s (for shoulders) won the last game due to enemies disconnecting.

Also, first time my guild did ZG in vanilla both the raptor and the tiger dropped. Was not in that raid tho

Got 0% progress for rank12 in vanilla in the last week before the TBC patch. Also got both zg tiger and raptor within a month before cataclysm.

Got Ravenlord, Blue Drake, White Hawkstrider, Deathcharger (on an alt) and Ashes of Al'ar all in less than ten runs each (the deathcharger was on his first run at level 49, so he had to compete for it).
Ever since we started raiding Cata stuff, I've gotten an upgrade from almost every boss.

EDIT: Oh yeah, got the Swift Zulian Tiger two weeks before the Cata patch. That's nine months after I got the Swift Razzashi Raptor.
EDIT2: Forgot these two... I got the Crimson Whelpling after two kills and I bought the Hyacinth Macaw, back when it was worth 20,000g, back before it became an epic item... for 11g.

I got the green proto drake off of my first egg one week after i bought it.
I got the blue proto drake from my first solo kill in Cata.
I got the white hawkstrider before i got exalted with Shattered sun offensive.
I got the Red Qiraji Crystal before revered Brood of Nozdormu.
Rolled 100 on my first three drake pick up group on twenty five men.
Won the Black Drake on my first three drake run in Cata.
We killed Magmaw on our first heroic kill on twenty five men with just one enhancement shaman standing in the end with half-life.
I have the white bear mount, but i farmed a lot for it.
Raven Lord on my fifteenth or so try.

Our guild made 2 Shadowmournes, and I got 1 Crimson Deathcharger. That made me happy.

Got my both Glaives on 3 runs... still I spent 3 months trying to completing it the 1st time, 2nd and 3rd were eaz becos of expansion.

i found an epic item, back in vanilla. i jizzed all over the country and myself drowned in awesomeness. it funded my epic mount.

also i suppose i got a shit ton of BiS loot on my first raid, and my guild disbanded a week after.

My luck:

After 2 years of unsuccessful Brewfests, My main got the Kodo and Ram on back to back days.
Also, got the blue drake from Occ on 3 toons.. but NOT my main >.<
Helped my GF get Madexx (Blue), Sambas, Ghostcrawler, and Terropene all by joking and saying "They spawned!" at random while I was in their appropriate zone. (felt bad for tricking her at the time.. till she told me they actually DID spawn...)

My entire gameplay is somewhat lucky (at least in terms of loot):

BoE epix ring drop on first days of Cata,
BoE epix chest somewhat later but not having any t11 set piece yet,
Drake mount from VP,
BoE epix headpiece with spirit won few days ago (also dropped in VP) - apparently even with having priest in LFD group, everybody rolled greed, no ninja'ing and I won.
Also I think most of the time I'm winning orbs in heroics I'm in, not counting though ;p

Remember my first days of raiding too, without dkp or similar stuff I'd still win quite a lot of gear purely by rolls.

Too bad didn't have much luck in Zul'Gurub :<

within 2 days of hitting 85 and starting to run instances, i had the epic tanking cloak and the epic leather chest peice drop and i win them, sold for 14k apeice and was set on gold for a while.
