Set The Oven To Cataclysmic Espresso Hotfix?

A tip just came out that you could make 5,000 Starfire Espressos (which costs a few hundred gold and is all vendor mats) to get the guild achievement for Broiled Dragon Feast. We set to do this this morning and now the Espressos aren't counting towards the total, and neither are highland spirits which also are all vendor mats and costs slightly more. Did they hotfix this?

Possibly. I did it a couple of days ago.

I did it yesterday, so if they did hotfix it it's brand new.

Yep, I only did a few hundred so my casters had some go go juice, this morning I was going to throw another 1000 at it but poof, gone. Achievement is now a lie if things classified as such to not count for such.

We did it this way, but don't go in expecting "a few hundred gold".

    Try a few thousand.

Other posts on Wowhead confirm. God forbid we have an easy method to do one of these exaggerated guild achs.

It takes 1280g to pull off (400g for beans, 800g for water), when it still worked. Definitely not a few thousand.
