I believe that in some blue post somewhere they said that the Achievement won't be triggered by being killed in the raid.

He seems to only affect the most affected zones by the Cataclysm, IE barrens, Uldum, stranglethorn. I came across him in wetlands once and 4 times in Uldum. From what I've noticed he doesn't seem to be in any of the Northern Kalimdor zones, correct me if I'm wrong.

I got this achievement by accident while leveling my priest in Western Plaguelands. I saw the screen go red and was like "oh crap!"

i was in twilight highlands when he flew there. a guildy got the feat but i didn't. apparently Dks can survive his fire.
