Uhm. Like 2 months ago I got 3 Ghost Shrimp in a mini-fish tank (prob 0.5 gallons). It was hard to get a picture because they were transparent. One of them killed the other two and it died itself. So within 11 days they all got wiped out.
Today I cleaned the tank out and got a Red Cherry Shrimp! I named him (or her, idk if you know better based on the picture let me know) 'Cherry.'

Hmmmm I went through the last few pages (wow people haven't posted in years) and most people have dogs and cats. That sounds way too high maintenance. Shrimps are easy. And confined to a space I designed. Originally Posted by Puupi

Ayyy so Cherry (scroll up to posts #1048 and 1050) died a long time ago. He lived for like 2 months, which is pretty good. I was hoping for just a week.
Then I bought another Ghost Shrimp, named him Biggie Smalls. He died while I was in Florida for Christmas...I wasn't really feeding him well.
SO while getting some Super Bowl food at Trader Joe's on Saturday, I ran across the street to Petco and spent $1.08 (with tax) on two more Ghost Shrimp! I've named them Mercy and Vengeance, from a certain video game I bet no one will guess.
They're not getting alone that well lol. I didn't want just one since I don't find them exotic like Cherry was, if they die they die...but I don't want them bullying each other, either.

The last shrimp I posted died a week ago. So I threw out the old tank and gravel and got the same one, but new. Also spent $4 on a fish.
The tank has no electricity or filters or anything so I'll have to be on top of the water changing. I hope it works. I named the fish "Oreo".
