Honor cap overflow

Are you still rewarded with gold for any honor gained past the cap, or was that just for the original conversion?
If that is still in effect, when do I get the money?

Its a cap now. You don't gain any past the cap. The gold was rewarded for people that were over the cap before it was in place. They could not gain any more over the cap once the cap was in place. They had the option of using the honor over the cap. If they did not it was converted to gold.
