The questions sometimes are ridicuous, and not even only when it comes to tv/computer/etc. Yesterday, the .5 million question here in Germany was
"If you are in the 2nd largest city in Canada, name-wise you'd be at the...?", and then the answers were [imperial river/royal mountain/noble forest/burgeois field]. Well now "Mount Royal", in German, does sound nothing like Montreal, but it still made me bang my head that you get half a freaking million for this

I've watched it through and its very much a lot of perspective shots. Not room bending perspective, but distance perspectives. Like this;
This is actually 2 tables, you can see this when Gandalf sits down he knocks the table a bit, but only part of the table wabbles. The lid he puts down later doesn't go on a pot, it goes onto a stand to make the pot look smaller than it is (like hobbit size).
You don't see stuff like this when you watch it through at normal pace. But take a look at that scene again and you will be amazed at how many tricks are going on there. They aren't even looking eye to eye at some points of the shot.
