    Actually.... To bring more logic in to this (and I am sorry for that).. Maya is not extinct. There is actually about seven miljon Maya indians living today in central america. The Maya civilization is over, they have adapted them self to "our modern culture", but since the Maya calender hasnt been used regulary in over a half millenium, you could say it a bit hard to add digits.

    The point of it all, was that Maya calender is counting days, not years, so the leap year logic is a fail, and that the whole world ending is a media thing. Not a Maya thing.
