As I posted before, they're not really "weird". Maybe uncommon for consumer motherboards but from what I've read, pretty common for server motherboards. I'm guessing (and if a PC (semi)expert could check this) this is probably a motherboard that came out when CPU's were still only single core, and there were no dual core CPU's yet. Or, it is a server motherboard (but looking at the link I posted of the specs of the motherboard I don't think it is). And the RAM slots are where they are obviously because of where the 2nd P4 CPU slot is.
Either way it's not really a 'funny' picture, but I'm not complaining about it being posted, as it's actually made me do a little research into past PC technology.
