Ofcourse I know what the characters are, I just don't get why is the picture supposed to be funny nor do I get its point.

And no, I don't own a console nor have I ever, so if this is supposed to be from some console only video game, then that's why I don't understand it.

Just leave the thread then. We're not going to write out a detailed analytical description for each picture to cater to you. There's some pictures I don't find funny/don't understand but I keep silent to not bitch. View the pictures and quit whining, or post pictures you find funny, or leave. It's pretty simple.

No one's thrown up an actual explanation for the pic it seems. Link on the left was racing against time before the moon came crashing down. Mario on the right was often being chased by the Sun in desert stages.

Pretty much why I've stopped coming here; people either talk about pictures and don't post, or people post what's on the top of Reddit. Don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with that, but I already go there.
