I didn't know about an article, from my perspective it looks like a few pictures are posted of an attractive athlete, and a whole bunch of women are jumping to the comments to talk about how she isn't that good looking without any actual words mentioning the attractiveness of said athlete, making both an ironic statement about sexism and oversexualization of women in media (because it is women pointing it out without provocation, making them the sexist oversexualizers themselves) and pointing out how low the self-esteem of the commenters is (because a picture of an undeniably attractive woman is met with tons of comments of women shooting down her looks for no good reason)
Its from a British film called 'Four Lions' its so funny
Now imagine you're a 16 year old boy in highschool. She is a lot better looking than anyone I went to highschool with, and teenagers can be pretty obsessive. And then there is the pack mentality where 1 person says she's the hottest girl in the school and every other guy agrees because that's how people work.
Hmm I dont get it sorry, i understand that its sets of footprints but why Jesus? is it a reference im not geting?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Footprints_%28poem%29 it's a well known allegory in protestant Christianity that has shown up in popular culture and has been used in a few songs (mainly christian country/rock).
anyhow, that's where it's from.

Is it just me, or does Jesus look a lot like Ryan Reynolds in that painting?
