Germans/Austrians indeed wear the wedding ring on the right hand sometimes. But both is somewhat common - and correct - here.

You're from Romania, right? There are quite a few countries where People wear their rings on the right, including your neighbor Bulgaria. It seems to be more common on the left side though.
A quick research gave me the hitsory of how both sides came to be; the left side was though by ancient Greeks and Egyptians to contain a vein directly from the heart, the vena amoris. The right side is favored in the Bible as the "good and blessed" side (Exodus 15.6).
