That power supply would get destroyed by a 460, dude.

Would chug along during heavy effects fights like Cho'gall phase 2 and Antramedes and such, probably somewhere in the 20s.

    460 1GB = 307W

Full draw, yes its probably cutting it close but they've built and tested it.

I would hold off a month or so and try to build a Intel Core i5-2500K system, might have to stretch the budget a little. But you'd have a comp that would last you at least 4 years and could play WoW on Ultra. Also, keep in mind that AMD lags way behind Intel for WoW performance, even with the same clock speed.

Going with bare minimum is the worst advice you could ever give somebody.

That build is fine, just bump up the PSU to something a bit safer. 550 watts would be a safe bet.

well i got my power supply unit at is that not good?

Its fine, you can go with the one I picked as well.

bigger PSU fosho low end psu will do more harm in the long run

So whats better overall going with a amd build or int build? always had int comps and sence im making my first custom wanna make sure i do it right

At your price point AMD would be the better bet. If you up your budget you can go with an Intel build.

At your budget AMD is the winner. Intel-based rigs only shine for medium-high budgets. For PSU, anything above 500w from a known brand should do the job.
As for building it...not much that can go wrong really, there's virtually no difference in the way AMD and Intel rigs come together. Just a different chip with a similar-looking motherboard :P

well atm i have a nvidia 9800gt so what card would be equal to or better then it without breaking my pocket.

That PSU is garbage.. Id be concerned letting it power my toaster.....

The rest seems "ok" but in honesty a 460 with the other components will see you wanting a Mobo/proc/Ram upgrade before the G Card.. so my cash would be spent on the nuts and bolts before the blowjob.

Good luck with the build though!

The 460 is the best bang for the buck right now.
