conclave is easy all about positioning

A thing with this fight is that you can change your strategy depending on the composition. For instance, a paladin tank and paladin healer can stay on the frost platform the whole fight and just bubble off the debuffs once it gets rough. A warlock can drain life-tank the eastern platform by himself, or a healer can stay there - provided the dps starts at that platform and gets him a bit low.

As a healer, I find that I have time to actually jump between platforms and heal people up. The damage output is extremely low outside of the "Ultimate" phase, and it all boils down to having control on each platform and killing them at the correct time.

Because there is more then one right way of doing things? lol

We as well do the 2 person on Rohash method. 1 Healer and 1 dps. Its not like the damage is hard hitting nor is the wind anything hard to avoid.... this way, Rohash has substantial less health when trying to even them out. Besides, during their abilities, make the dps jump over to the Ice Man and heal yourself in the tornado. The damage is laughable to be honest.

    Amazing sig compliments of Alyajna!

Conclave is quite easy once everyone knows when to switch. Just put half your dps on nature and the other half on frost. Put a healer and a dps or two on rohash. At 80 energy frost and nature switch places. Move adds out of healing stuff and get them down quickly. Don't stand in frost stuff for frost guy. That's really all.

Al'akir 25 on the other hand is a pain. You will wipe on P1 a lot but once you get P1 and timing add deaths in P2 you're golden.

Al'Akir is pretty challenging at first, but conclave is kinda faceroll
I tried to sleep on my keyboard - Not a good idea, WASD on the cheek in the morning.

First boss is super easy assuming your guildies aren't retarded, however don't underestimate Al'Akir.

Obviously this is not a perfect description of either fight but you get the idea. Compared to Omnitron it requires each raider to know the entire raid's strat much more soundly, instead of just reacting to a bossmod.
How is Magmaw a gear check, you can clear it item lvl333+...thats about half you're gear in dungeon heroics...

On topic: It's pretty easy, it looks more complicated that it actually is. It's just 3 simple tacs for the minibosses and now and than a switch from platform for killing add or special ibility thingies. Shouldn't take you to long to kill it. (Al'akir is "harder" imo, it's simple but a small mistake will hit you in the face like a truck if you have some bad luck.)

Easier than Omnitron, harder than Magmaw.

Anyone else getting really tired of huge-E-peen-sized-people like this? Trying to put other people down for no apparant reason?

Yes it is an easy fight. But not one-shotting it, does not make you a bad player/group.

It seemed quite obvious that it was satire, targeted at the people you're tired of.

2 players at Rohash is actually a good idea, if one of them happen to be knocked down the other guy can survive long enough for the other to jump back on. Just have the dps move to north platform before ultimate.

  15. #35
It's easy once your group figures out how to manage adds on the life boss, and stacks of frost on the frost boss. It took us a while, but we've been one or two shotting it the last few weeks.

the last boss is OS on super steriods, you have to do a lot of movement, hunters ALWAYS have on aspect of the fox, and there's a TON of things going off at the WORST POSSIBLE TIMES! "Ok running in- TORNADOES! ACK!"

Magmaw's lava spew will do 100k to a couple players over its duration, and he does that fairly often. Not a strict requirement, but it's there.

Yeah we haven't been able to down Omnitron yet but we had Conclave down right away. Kind of backwards, have an odd bunch of raiders <3

We had a little lower DPS then we should of, but our strat was
    x2 DPS x1 Heals @ Rohash
    x1 Heals and x1 Tank @ Nezir
    x1 Heals x1 Tank and x3 DPS @ Anshal

We had a holy paladin and prot paladin on Nezir just bubbling their stacks off when they needed to so no tank switches were required. Just switch all DPS including those @ Rohash to Nezir @ 80ish energy, once Nezir and Rohash are a little under a mil, kill Anshal > kill Nezir > kill Rohash!

What? Killed the boss twice and both times the loot was absolutely amazing. Perfectly itemized. Just because it has a random enchantment doesn't mean the loot is bad. It's not. It's probably the consistently best itemized gear we've seen drop and the ilevel ensures that it has the same stat allocation as a piece that has stats set in stone.

Al'akir 25 is the second hardest encounter on normal and probably the hardest on heroic
