Well it depends. If the amount of Intellect you gain from it is more than 5% of your total Intellect, it'd be worth it to use it. Otherwise, stick with mail.

Actually, it does for Elemental - you always need a bit of hit.

But: Never ever consider using a non-chainmail-item! Never!

Im currently at roughly 4500 Int, 5% of that are more than 200 Int, which is our most valuable stat by far. Basically, you'll have an item that has NO intellect on it. It's basically as bad as wearing an enhancer item instead.
