Profession for Shadow Priest

Hello.
I have a question, wich profession would be better for dps increase? Jewelcrafting (same as enchanting, alchemy / similar ones that increase spellpower) or engineering (cooldown on gloves)?
Engineering is way funnier and has a lot of useful stuff but I don't want to change and loose dps.

And one more thing, can we use the cooldown on gloves on arenas?

Engineering + tailoring/leatherworking is highest dps for spriests atm.
