So whats up with the chogall leather helm model?...It still has WOTLK blue item model....? Pretty cool job from blizz for end boss item lol.

It's almost perfectly itemized for combat. It's a shame that should I ever get it, I'll have to not display it, hideous as it is.

But they'll probably update it eventually... Like they did in TBC with all the items from say Karazhan that looked like tier 1-2 in wierd colours.

When I first saw the loot lists "Membrane of C'thun" I was expecting a sort of Jellyfish-like cover, with maybe the C'thun eye moving around the center.
The heroic version copies the tier 11 heroic rogue, same for the heroic version of the boots from halfus. Kinda strange how they've neglected to just make these normal version items just the normal tier versions too, surely they checked it. It just seems rather lazy.

A bit offtopic... I thought a bag of entrails was bad enough to use as a helmet back in ICC. But now what, membrane of a freaking Old God...? Oo Next thing we know we will be using Foreskin of Deathwing as chest plate.

It is the real model, Zin. The heroic version has a different model, but that doesn't mean Blizz didn't intend the normal one to look ugly.
