I have a question concerning caustic slime, does it count as nature damage? Also does nature damage count as spell damage? Basically what i'm getting at will Anti-Magic zone help on this encounter?

there are 3 types of dmg ingame: magic, physical direct and physical indirect (bleeds)
Phys direct is mitigated by armor
Phys indirect is not mitigated at all (in pve)
and magic is mitigated by resistances in the schools of magic or by general magic mitigation.

Nature = magic
If you want to know if its nature dmg you should just peek in the combatlog where it is written (hits X for X (nature dmg)...)
I dont know what type of dmg it is though, sorry.

I see no point in using it though, you are suppose to be spread so that only one person gets hit by it, and if you have above 10k you'll live.
