Do you mean on heroic difficulty? The difficulty is hot-switchable, just like ICC was.

How do you skip the first 2 bosses with that gate being down. And why would anyone even think about wanting to. They are easy and only take a few min to kill.

The OP is talking about heroic difficulty I believe.
