    my group runs:
    Tanks- Paladin mt, DK OT
Healers- HPriest, Druid,Shaman(ele OS if we dont need the heals)
Mdps- Unholy DK, Frost DK(if OT isnt needed to tank)
Rdps- Boomkin, Fire mage, Spriest, Demo lock, Ele Shaman(if he isnt healing)

so far we have 9 HMs down in 10m, and we are still plugging away, not bad for a bunch of weekend raiders(we only raid sat/sun 4 hours each day)
    Scrapbot Was Here.
I was asked a simple question in school today; 3 men walk into a bar, 1 orders a Margarita, 1 orders a Screwdriver, and the third orders the largest glass of Guinness he could get. Which on is gay?
My answer: The one who bought the Guinness because he gave it to me.
my teacher looked at my answer and laughed. i got bonus points because of it.

He's well geared and decently specced so it's an odd thing to see honestly. I'm guessing he could pick up at least 1.5k dps by making that one spell change. I'm sure you guys are fine, you have no problems, etc. but just throwing it out there. Whether you want to tell him or not is up to you.
I will definitely throw that out there, anything to improve our raid dps is worth bringing up regardless. Thanks for throwing that out there.

    Tanks : dk + warr
Healers : shammy, shammy, holy/disc priest
    Meelee dps : warr, rogue
Range dps : Lock, Spriest, mage / hunter

Lock + spriest = love at first sight. Locks dark intent on spriest = +10% dmg for both players
The shammy's (even though they have very low healing atm) have no problem with healing the raid in normal situations.
Frost Mage / hunter for kiting

This is a fairly decent spec we used for a lot of bosses

    My group comp:
    Tanks: Pally , War
    Healers: Holy Priest, Pally, Shammy.
DPS: Assassin Rogue, SV/MM Hunter, 2 Firemages, 1 Balance Druid.

Healers are having mana issues on Nefarian.

Is there anyway to fix that? Maybe having 1 Fire mage go Frost? for Mana backup?

    -Mage (Fire/Frost)
    -Druid (Balance)
    -Hunter (Survival/MM)
    -Death Knight (Unholy / Frost)

    -Priest (Holy)
    -Priest (Disc)

    Tanks:

    Druid (Feral)
    Warrior (Protection/Fury when not OT)

    DPS:

    Rogue (Assassination)

What? How have you downed 9 on 10m? There's only 1 single US 10m guild that has done 9 10m HM bosses, and 3 total in the world. They all got their 9th boss within the last few days, not back at the end of January as you claim. If you're doing both 25 and 10 in 8 hours each week you've got to be the most efficient guild ever.

    Tanks: Paladin, Paladin.

    Healers: Paladin, Paladin, Paladin.

DPS: Paladin, Paladin, Paladin, Paladin, Paladin.

Tharr go. Everyone just LoH when needed and use bubbles to negate annoying mechanics.

If I was building the ideal raid setup, I would go with:

    Feral Druid.
    Protection/Fury Warrior.
    Arcane/Fire Mage.
    Demonologist/Destruction Warlock.
    Marksman/Survival Hunter.
    Elemental/Restoration Shaman.
    Frost/Unholy Death Knight.
    Shadow/Holy Priest.
    Holy/Protection Paladin.
    Balance/Restoration Druid.

    we run

    Tanks
    DK
    Warrior

    Heals
    Resto Druid
    Holy Priest
    Holy Pally

    DPS
    Unholy DK
    Assassination Rogue
    Fire Mage
    Surv/MM Hunter
    Destro/Demo Warlock

my raid setup at the moment is:
    Tanks:
    - Feral Druid
    - Protection Warrior

    Healers:
    - Holy Paladin
    - Restoration Shaman
    - Restoration Druid

    Dps:
    - Combat Rogue
    - Retribution Paladin
    - Fire Mage
    - Survival Hunter
    - Destruction Warlock

if one of the healers can't make it, we swap the rogue to hes discipline priest, or another holy priest, and bring in an assasination rogue/ MM hunter.

I'd say the best possible raid comp for 10 mans (post-4.1) is:

    Protection paladin
    Blood DK
    Holy paladin
    Holy priest
    Resto shaman
    Combat rogue
    Affliction warlock
    Survival hunter
    Fire mage
    Retribution paladin

It has everything covered with the exception of Mangle. And, thanks to respecs, it can juggle the amount of healers/DPS it can bring and it can also have the highest AoE in the game whilst maintaining a balanced composition, as well as have the highest single-target DPS potential and the best dual-target DPS.

My raid runs this except it has a Prot warrior instead of a DK tank.

    My team runs this:

    Tank:
    Warrior
    DK

    Healers:
    Paladin
    Druid
    Shaman (me)

    DPS:
    Mage
    DK
    Hunter
    Rogue
(random PUG till we find a consistent player)

Our healer set up seems to work very well. I have Mana Tide, Druid has Innervate, and our Pally is, well, a Pally. Tanks work really well too together because they both have good ways to regen health. DK's regen is unreal right now until the nerf bat comes along. Our DPS is really balanced as well. We have found that if we PUG in a Lock for that 10th spot we have a very balanced set up. All of our DPS are around 15k which allows us to move through content well and we have a lot of CC with that group as well.

    Question Raid Comp

I was wondering if someone could suggest someone to fill in our roles or if we should change roles around. Here are our current players who are on week to week.

    Prot Pally
Blood DK (although this could change - he has prot warr too)

Resto/Boomkin Druid (this could be feral DPS as well)
    Holy Pally
Resto Shaman (good shaman, but not guilded with us and can't count on him because of that)

    Arcane/Fire Mage
    MM/Surv Hunter
    Enchance Shaman
Elemental Shaman or Destro Lock (both of his are geared)

    Tanks: Protection Paladin
    Feral Druid

These two tanks are by far the two best tanks in combination with eachother.

    Healers: Holy paladin
    Holy/Disc Priest
    Restoration Druid / Shaman

    DPS: Arcane Mage
    MM Hunter
    Warlock
    Frost DK
    Balance Druid
