Most of the time, and the weaponized ones certainly are, but the stylized ones such as you'd expect from essentially a demigod, could be rounded at the edges.

Or, you know, the real ones, that were used for fishing, because that was their actual purpose, spearing fish. They were all pointy and stuff too.
