Engineers should be able to make a River Boat

I've just started questing on the Speedbarge in Thousand Needles and got River Boat, possably one of the greatest items in game. Not that it would be much use in any zone since not many quests involve being on the water, and Thousand Needles is the only area it is actually any use since its flooded and the area is for players without a flying mount, but I think it would be great if engineers could make it into a mount useable anywhere. It would be pretty useless so it fits right into the idea of being an Engineer item, plus I'd finally have an excuse to wear a pirate hat. Thoughts?

When "liftig off" wings comes out with jets under.
When hiting water, a globe govers and two propella motors pops out..
