As demo, with a succubus, it seems I never have to Life Tap. Is the imp proccing this at similar rates?

Now that the crit scaling for the Succubus has been fixed, both Succubus and Imp will proc Mana Feed quite regularly. Felguard can only proc Mana Feed with Legion Strike (6 sec cooldown) so Imp and Succubus should both provide more mana regeneration than Felguard.

I was asking if people raiding as destro have to Life Tap very much, if at all, therefore correctly experiencing the "should" of the above post.

A good way to gauge this would be to go to worldoflogs.com and look up the highest Destro parses to see what they do. Here is a link to get you started:

Don't forget to check for Replenishment among the Power Gains; that can factor in as well. Based on this, I'd say you won't be life tapping much.

Using the example you provided shows that he/she probably Life Tapped twice, but it doesnt exactly measure the need to do it. The player may have tapped during a motion phase, "just because" while running.

But thank you, it seems during even a decently heavy AoE fight, that the imp most like procs it enough. Of course, soul leech helps a lot with destro.
