Just went BT and we had group loot all the way to illidan when he putted on masterloot and ninja looted the OH glaive.
Aperently, if you state the loot rules before the raid starts and break them. blizzard can interfere. If you don't, they cannot do anything.
But the only thing this guy said was "Roll on whatever you can use"
Does that count as a "rule"? or can't we do anything.

yes i dose idd count as a rule there was most likly more than him that can use the galive

doesn't really count as a rule, the rules need to be crystal clear with no loop holes... i've had GM's tell me some rules were not good enough for them to interfere with the ninja's... even after the rules had been some-what stated, and i believe that i read that "MS > OS" doesn't really count as a proper rule
tough luck, the guy just got away with it i guess :l

Yeah there was few dk's / rogues there. i was a shaman though.

I don't mean to sound like a dick, but do you honestly think loot from 2 expansion old content raid is high on a GM's agenda? I understand you want to QQ about it, but realistically, nothing will be done. Get over it. Sure the RL was a dick, so make your own and then you can be the one to ninja the shiny orange dagger.

Pretty sure he actually have to say that the highest roller wins the loot before Blizzard can interfere.

Yes you have to state what type of roll will win. Just stating open rolls doesn't constitute as a scam. Even then there are ways to circumvent that such as stating you never said who was eligible/ineligible for rolls. Originally Posted by Nørf

If he didn't state the rules in a crystal clear fashion, or that the bow was reserved, then ticket him and let the GMs investigate. That's all you can do.

Group loot is blizz's preferred pug loot system.
Personally, ya'll should have stopped the moment the RL changed loot to master looter. It should have been obvious to all of you what he was planning. You would be wasting your time and the GM's time putting in a ticket.
