Forgotten Yet Still Obtainable Mounts

This is a thread to document all the special mounts that we have forgotten yet are still obtainable. You cannot mention Racial mounts, only notable/unique mounts.

Mine is the Venomhide Ravasaur. Once a blessing upon the Horde, now a forgotten relic of Blizzard's kindness. When I use it, people will utter "WTF is that mount!?".

I remember the celestial steed hype, i rememeber being in ogrimmar and everywhere i looked everyone had one it was like that for a week.Dont see people using it nowadays considering it's kinda a Boa mount and just got a bad image but seroiusly I bet blizz made a fortune of it

But Honestly I would say that Talbuks are pretty much forgotten. Nobody rides them at all for the most part. The only reason I don't ride them is that damned tail bug.

Go around in the leveling zones, you will see tons of people using it still. Not surprising since it scales with mount skill.

I believe that is partially because, ever since Cata, they have had an awful camera glitch that makes everything hidden under your ui(The camera slowly moves up.....and up.....and up), so most (including me) switched mounts.

The OP said 'Forgotten, yet obtainable'. You cannot obtain that anymore. Not since the first few hours of Ahn'Qiraj.

EDIT: Nevermind. Apparently if a server is brand new you can obtain it through the event...or so says Wiki.

I forget about that mount sometimes.

Then I remember how many times I've completed the daily quest only to get a satchel as a reward filled with sour yeti cheese.

That's when I go do the daily again and get rewarded with snowballs.

I also get one step closer to putting a fist through my computer screen.

No, it doesn't depend on the server. All current server's have it's gates opened and Blizzard has stated that to avoid people xferring to get the mount and title that the gates will be opened automatically when they make a new server (Can't be assed to look it up).

So no, it is not obtainable in any way shape or form that follows the ToS.

I'd say the cenarion hypogryph. I'd go so far to say the sunreaver and silver cov mounts, nobody rides those anymore. Not that old though.

No, it does not depend on the server. All new servers start with opened gates, and all gates are currently opened, so that's a no-go. As for eBay.. well, that doesn't make it obtainable in game.

Bad argument, OP obviously meant obtainable as in for everyone, not for a select few, and certainly not by buying a toon. Might as well make the argument that you can just hack the game!!! still obtainable.

Dark War Talbuk was that ever a grind. I got it before dust got nerfed as well.
