Purpose of moonglade?

I expect it to play a major role as a druid stronghold come the Emerald Dream patch/expac

the emerald dream expac has been speculated as an expac since vanilla...why are poeple still keeping this dream alive? no pun intended!

This is like asking what is the purpose of Montana or North Dakota. They serve really no purpose, and hardly anyone ever goes there, and probably not much druid ganking going on there either.
