    Rant about driving tests.

Today was my third driving test, after failing my first two. I came ready, prepared more than ever and ready to kick the shit out of that driving test. Im a good driver but I get really nervous/unlucky in my driving tests including today, I just want my god damn license. damn. and it costs so much per test too

inb4 trolling about the word licence.

Also OT: Get more practice in, be sure you're 100% ready before you try if you don't want to spend money.

Maybe you shouldn't be driving. We have enough of your kind on the roads already.

You probabbly don't know how hard it is to pass a driving test where I'm from, Im a great driver but it depends on luck, traffic and if the testers wife sucked his dick the last night.

for the person that asked where Im from, I'm from israel. and the method to pass your licence here is pretty stupid really.
You need to do 28 lessons with your driving teacher bare minimum, Pay 100$ (converted from israel currency) for 15 minutes of a guy sitting next to you telling you where to drive and one tiny mistake means failure.

Lol I remember my driving test, straight shot down the street from a convenience store to the DMV. Never had to parallel park or anything.

Parallel parking is the most difficult part of learning to drive imo. I failed my first in car test but the second time around I passed with flying colours (mind you it was like a year later lol). I actually have to go and do another one in a couple weeks.

maybe you arent checking for car-bombs or something.

in the US (at least used to be) completing the drivers ed course automatically passes the driving portion (though i heard they ramped up the shitty "drive parents around for practice" hours). you still have to pass the written of course.

why are you making mistakes anyways? you blatantly didnt mention what you are getting failed for. are we supposed to read your mind?

I'm in the same situation. My instructor has told me I'm more than ready to take the practical, but it's the theory that screws me ovr. Damn you, hazard perception!

If only the US had a better license test. With ours now, people should need at least a 90/100 to pass. So many terrible drivers here, and I won't mention which I ALWAYS see that suck, I'd imagine most people know already though.

Been driving on the roads in the UK for around 5 years now.

So many people, (including some I live with, 2 years younger than me) are absolutely terrible. One good performance in a test is all they need.

I also think you should be re-evaluated every 10 year to retain a full license.

For reference, I used to work in I.T., I'm now part of the Automotive sector.
