I am a big fan of the rain myself. The thing I like is walking while it is raining outside. It soothes me a lot.

I love the rain, but that may be because my GF loves the sounds so much that every time it rains i have work to do, if u catch my drift. Its jsut a naturally relaxing sound and being in the rain is fun (so long as u dont have anything in your pockets getting destroyed), living in FL it generally rains 4-5 days a week, but its been unnaturally dry recently

I love rain. I remember a specific day a couple years ago where my boyfriend and I had just got out of the car in a parking lot about to head into the store and it started lightly raining. It was very bright outside and the sky was very blue with only a couple clouds hanging around. Even thought we were getting soaked and were standing in the middle of a huge ugly parking lot with buildings and cars everywhere, we just stood there staring because it was so beautiful. Everything was glistening, the air smelled clean, the sun was warm and birds came out and were chirping and playing in the puddles. There was even a huge rainbow stretching across the sky.

I come from Wales, and last time I was there, it didn't stop drisseling/raining *in the valleys*.
Loved it, and I miss it now I'm back home.

Guess you miss it when you're gone, it's just a regular thing for me here.

I prefer the smell of rain to any other scent in the world. Including food. ^^

This. I also love staring out the window into nothingness while in a car, it's so damn relaxing, so much so that I can drown out music from my iPod at max volume. Rain makes that 1k times better.
