First off, what if the world was like Pokemon games, and you had to fight everyone you made eye-contact with?

I thought of a long process of world events without the influence of a specific religion that shant be mentioned. It turned very grim when i reached this era, but it was different than the world now. Rome lasted a lot longer which was a bonus.
