Hurricane vs Avalanche vs SP enchants in RAWR

So i was seeing in rawr and it says that Avalanche enchant is a major increase of dps and stays a little behind Power Torrent and way ahead SP enchants and Hurricane ... but in the community i see a lot of people saying bad things about the avalanche enchant .... So, is Rawr wrong?

Note that it is for 1-handed weapons with off-hand.

I'm not sure if rawr is wrong.. but I honestly cannot see how avalanche can be any real DPS increase.

Just get power torrent.

Rawr is wrong. I don't know what the hell they did to the mage module but it's being terrible all over the place for mages.
