Erickson's explanation was basically that the Sith are evil by ideology but the people of the Empire are not, they're just people caught in a war. So... light side Sith, mess with the RPers!

The basic way this would work would be that you believe in the Empire. You don't believe a Galactic Republic can ever work, the Galaxy NEEDS a singular leader. You don't necessary agree with the Empire's methods, and thus don't participate in them, but you do believe in the goal, a single unified government spanning the galaxy. It's not that big of a stretch.

You're right, just realized that the United Kingdom also use daylight saving times. That means while it's 22:00 in Greenwich now, it's 21:00 Greenwich Mean Time.

I'm actually pleasantly surprised with lore knowledge. I have some personal issues with details, but overall, they tend to know their lore. This is me ignoring the Chiss being in TOR.

Erickson knows his. Another writer, Alexander Freed, knows it well and has an interesting take (not interesting as in "LOL FORCE POWERS EVERYWHERE BAM STARKILLER BAM BAM AHHHHHHH", but as in actually intelligent. I'll try to find a link). They sadly let Drew Karpynshyn work on it a bit after his loljob on the Bane trilogy, but he had a smaller role iirc and overall they seem to have done a great job.

I hope Drew Karpynshyn stays away from SWTOR , he's the evil twin of Richard A. Knaak
