Q. Is there any indication that the newest build published this week will lead to larger-scale beta testing invites in the coming days/weeks? And what does it mean in relation to a release? Are we looking at 3 months? 6 months?
A. The game feels pretty much done. If anything they are just working on their server infrastructure. There aren’t really any game breaking bugs, and it could ship right now. They are doing another stress test at the end of the month, so that may be what John Riccitiello meant by increased testing.

I knew the truth months ago when I was 11/12 in Cata content. Now, I no longer have access to my account and have a new tv. (take from that what you will :P)

q: Flying mounts? I know speeders and shit hover, but I'm talking WoW internet dragons flying. (hoping not)
q: Last names when you make a character? Cainan or Cainan Scar, which will I be able to choose on day one?
q: Are there racial abilities/bonuses?

-Nope
-Not that I know of, and am unsure but doubtfull that there will be. i believe aphostophes can be there though, unless it gets changed.

Well, that is interesting...

If that is the case, I'd expect a release date right after 4.2.0 releases... and I'd also expect the release to be within a two months, probably in mid July to mid August. If it really is "Pretty much done" then EA is losing money every day they don't release it, so they won't wait very long.

a: No flying mounts. You have a spaceship to go between planets, and a speeder as a land mount.
a: Not sure. Devs have confirmed that names can have dashes and apostrophes but haven't said anything about last names.
a: Devs are still undecided. They said that if they do include racials, they won't be anything that gives a combat advantage because they don't want players to have to min/max their race.

Ok I know I was QQin earlier for the release to be soon, but I had an unexpected takith all my savings for new computer come out of no where, cough transmission went caput on truck had to replace cough, so now I'm hoping for closer to the end of the year as possible. I swear to everything that if I have to play TOR on this crappy laptop I might just go ballistic and start shooting people.

Well, this is why (imo) ME3 was pushed to 2012.

Also, this goes to show that it wasn't all lies when they said EA was not pushing things and were letting Bioware do what they need to do.

So a question to those who knows.

Lets say I roll a Sith Inquisitor with the Sorceror as the Advance Class.

But I decide to specialise myself in to the healing tree (corruption?). How will I then handle soloing quests et cetera if I'm not speccing damage dealing?

Or can I spec both lightning-tree and the healing-tree?

You can spec into both trees if you wanted. There are no restrictions as to how you spend your points.

Also, you have a companion character to help you kill things.

Also, all classes pump out good damage, even if they are a healer. The Sorc still gets attacks like lightning just for being a sorc. You can spec heals, and still have lightning.
