Faith Manages
Dark Messiah of Might and Magic
It was better than Oblivion in every single aspect, but because it was linear it apparently made it not as good. It still is one of the best action-RPG's I've ever played.
FF11. It doesn't get a lot of love.
The World Ends With You. I loved that game so much, up with FFX as one of my favorite games.
Warcraft 3 - Wintermaul Wars
Viva Pinata
Saints Row 1+2
Golden Sun
Disgaea Hour of Darkness
Blazblue series
Guilty Gear series
Suikoden series
An old rpg called Nox. It was awesome but no one had ever heard of it. Almost =)
Psychonauts definitly. ingenious gameplay, storyline, level design, characters, all around awesomeness.
also, Fire Emblem for the GBA. that game was fuckin epic and caused me so many rages over the time i spent playing it.
Ill put in Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga as well. the co-op gameplay style kept me entertained for hours at a time
FInal Fantasy 9.
This especially goes to those people who think FF7 was the shit... I liked 9 so much, different characters who actually have a story, absolute majestic music (I bought the album^^). It is emotionally the best game I ever played, you are kidnapped in a whole new world and feel with your characters.
Grandia 2
Awesome rpg, but not really known to many people.
Others are: Battle Realms, Jade Empire (although it was a bit short), Breath of Fire
FF9....The best one in the series.
FF13....damn good
Jet Force Gemini- N64 game
Goochy
zzz... do mods not exist in this forum, less than a page back there's already a thread on this topic.
Not sure how they're rated, but a few games no one ever really talks about I thought were amazing...
Hydro Thunder
Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone
S.L.A.I.
Metal Slug series.
