just bought the arch founder pack. to get my hands on the alpha etc. now that AA is down for a bit I thought I wud look into classes. but with over 120 potential classes... wouw. am I the only one being overwhelmed? I am simply not sure what I shud go for. what are you guys playing? and why?

There are only 12ish real classes, others are ok but have some major flaws in pvp What role are you looking to fill in game?

Damn, those patch notes are like, the size of many games expansion notes >.>

On Korea the level cap was raised to 55, so it is like an expansion.

Looking for some advice before I try this game. I am huge on responsiveness and being in the oceanic region, not many games can achieve that due to trans-pacific latency. Notable mentions are WoW and Rift. Examples of games that failed are Tera, FFXIV and Wildstar.

Anyone from AUS/NZ region can tell me how the game feels? Thanks in advance!

What makes this game different or special from other MMOs?

Its actually got a lot of things that are faily standard across MMOs. Combat will feel like your standard WoW/Rift/SWTOR MMO. Quests, leveling, items etc are all very standard hotbar mmo genre.

What it has different is its tacked on a quite complex crafting system including the ability to craft houses and boats and other things. This is what sets it apart.

If GW2 could tack on an actual crafting and gathering system, it would be the best game ever. Instead one game has half of what I want and the other has the other half : (

Much like ArcheAge’s Alpha, the level cap will be 50 and we encourage you to share your ArcheAge adventure with the world via video, screenshots, or livestream as there will be no non-disclosure agreement (NDA)!

Yeah maybe. Looking forward to trying the game myself. I tried not to watch any videos of the game to make my own opinion about it.

That's the entire game, you have to redownload it as there was no way to update the 'old' Alpha build 1.0 we were using for months to the new 1.2 build so i'm afraid it's a complete, fresh install of the entire game

All the free closed Beta keys are gone.....already, but keep an eye on these sites on the off chance that more will get added, most of them were bad timing for Europe

Guessing its release date will be very close to WoD's release. What a fucking joke. Would have certainly bought it if it was out now, during this video game drought but not in several months when WoD will likely be released too.
