Good game tonight. It's a series now at least. SJ had the opportunity tonight but blew it. I give it a 50/50 now for the winner. Detroit may very well take game 6..
read my last post. Datsyuk is a SEXY BEAST. he is absolutely hands down, the best player right now. not on detroit, not in the west, but in the entire damn show.

I'll be praying to the hockey gods that we get bounces off elbows and skates. I think Vancouver will pull out the win.
I remember it all too well

this is exactly why i posted to refresh my mem on when Detroit came back from a 3-1 and take the series. I was afraid they just may do it again this year. I really hope its just me being foolish and what not, but after seeing SJ lose their composure again tonight, i'm afraid they just may lose it all together now.

God they make me so irritable... Guess i'll go do some pvp and let my rage roll out on my victims.

    Kesler: 5 goals 8 assists, 13 points 53.0% face off 12 games played 3:05 a game on the pk, 10.9 shot %. +5
    Datsyuk: 3 goals 10 assists 13 points 55.2% face off 9 games played. 57 seconds a game on the PK, 11.1 shot %, +7

its close but i give the edge to Datsyuk.

im going to say vancouver 3-2, i want to see nashville win because game 7 is always awesome to see but i dont think nashville can get a win going with kesler in the form he is atm and the prospect of the sedins stepping it up big.

And Pavel Datsyuk has 3 more giveaways but 3 more Takeaways, again, 3 games less played. as i said, its close, but right now Datsyuk is pretty much playing with one hand.

3 goals, 10 assists, 13 points. thats tied for most. oh, by the way, the only other guys with 13 points also played 11+ games.
and he has the highest face off % of all of them. and hes doing all this injured. wheres elite to say that Datsyuk isn't on Crosby's level. 13 points in 9 games, and topping the face offs.
ah but Canucks fans say that Kesler is the best

Yet the Wing played the yotes in the 1st round kinda balances it out dont you think?

Considering the Canucks played the 8th seed, a team that couldn't even win a game when it mattered to secure a playoff spot and they nearly choked it away.

Looking forward to Nashville pushing that series to 7 games tonight. The Canucks lack a killer mentality.

Datsyuk is a playing very good not just his offence but in the Dot as well. Which is very important especially in the playoffs.

lets see, Detroit played Phoenix, a 6 seed.
the Canucks played a 8 seed in Chicago, who had Minnesota to thank for them getting into the play offs. sorry but 6 seed > 8 seed, regardless of how many games it went too.

    ---------- Post added 2011-05-09 at 04:43 PM ----------

straight from ESPN writers own words:
"Simply put, there has been no greater player in these Stanley Cup playoffs than the magical Datsyuk."

    ---------- Post added 2011-05-09 at 04:49 PM ----------

Canucks fans, i will not deny that Kesler has been solid, but Datsyuk has put up similar numbers, and even better numbers, in some categories, and has played 3 less games than Kesler, i think that speaks volumes. also Datsyuk played last night essentially with 1 hand.

srry but I just had a bit of a brain freeze while I tryed and failed to comprehend that...
also Canucks have a bit of a history with hawks...mostly ending badly,so this was a huge thing for them to finally do.
