I actually agree with Irony on this one - when I was looking at the schedule, I figured 'oh, 5 home games against 4 bad teams and one mediocre one... we could get like 8 points out of this'. Until the Leafs have played 1-2 games against Buffalo, Boston, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, or Washington, I can't really say they're a very changed team. Yes, Kessel is off to a great start, but he's always most productive in October. The second and third lines need to step up the scoring if they stand any chance of doing anything this season or in the playoffs. MacArthur gave the puck away like 6 times last night on completely sloppy, boneheaded plays and was rewarded with very little (if any) ice time in the last 10 minutes and overtime. Hot starts mean jack shit if they go into another 3-month slide where they only win 10 games or whatever.
