Looks like I will attending to my first NHL game in October! Pens - Flyers! Now I am looking forward to the start even more!
Too bad it wasnt the Sharks though

A nice start to your NHL game viewing experience at least. Watching proper rival teams is so much more fun.

There's no way that can be accurate, Calgary has less miles than the Bruins. Though we did get a lot of those back to backers and long trips out east. So I guess it sort of makes sense. It's not like they're flying back here between games.
There should be a "Game Miles" thing. Like how many miles away from their home city does the game take place, not just a tally of how far they had to get from A to B to C to D to A. Would be interesting to see that one.
damn Canada slaughtered USA at the Ivan Halinka tournament
You guys heard about the Ice Bucket Challenge, yes?
Well the participants usually use a BUCKET of ice for that.
It was P.K. Subban's turn and of course he wouldn't use a small bucket. No, he would not, because "he's the man".
He used a whole truck load of Ice water to do his challenge.

It will be hard as hell to top Biznasty. Bill Gates was amusing, just because you can see the kid in his eyes, still... but it sure as hell doesn't beat doing it from a helicopter on a goddamn mountain peak. For a guy who makes shit money (by NHL standards), that is just... dude fucking wins everything.
Source: http://www.thehockeynews.com/article...L-seasons.htmlDENVER - Goaltender Jean-Sebastien Giguere is retiring after 16 NHL seasons in which he won 262 games, a Conn Smythe Trophy and a Stanley Cup championship.
I just thought I'd share this, since no one has posted it yet.

Thornton and Marleau stripped of the C & A because after losing to LA management went stupid.
