    Oh boy this season is gonna be a test on my sanity. Everyone on our team has stones for hands and honestly, this could be a 15th in the West, 30th overall season. Might be a bit too early to say so but fuck the last 2 periods + first 10 mins of this game has me all sad n shit.

    Tonight was a typical Preds loss, same kind I've been watching for years. We can't clear the puck, can't finish chances, and pass 40 times til we lose the puck and don't shoot. Topper is another crappy shootout performace.

    We did play better than we did against Columbus, but Peks is scaring the heck out of me right now. He's not the same as he has been the last two years, picked up some bad habits.

    Someone needs to nerf Ryan Miller. There is no way in hell Buffalo deserved to win that game from an offensive standpoint. Still a great showing by the Leafs and Buffalo did put up a pretty good fight overall. Orr absolutely destroyed Scott in the fight in the 1st period though. Aside from the first goal, Scrivens once again had a good game in net despite the loss, but I think Reimer will be starting against Pittsburgh on Wednesday night. Kadri had his 2nd goal in as many games though, which is a good thing. That said, people expecting the Leafs to score a crap load of goals are only kidding themselves, that isn't Carlyle's system and all forwards are going to be much more defensive minded because of it, but when the forwards are flying they create loads of scoring chances. People shouldn't count the Leafs out if they continue to keep games close by doing what they have done well. That said, Holzer and Fraser need to go back to the Marlies.
