You can tell WoW changed the MMO for good when players started complaining about the amount of time they sink, into a time sink.
Lol Voukoun is such an awkward looking goalie. Get karma'd for being a douche Neil, can't believe he missed that open net when Voukoun was down and out.
Shorthanded tie game, prob heading to OT. Voukoun what are you doing LOL.
To be fair Stajan actually played pretty well this year. 23 points in 43 games + he was 1 of 2 players who had a positive +/-. Not exactly the best stat to judge a player but on a team that was so terrible defensibly, it was pretty good. I liked what he did for us this year, not worth the contract but wasn't completely useless like the past seasons.

They lost 2-1 in OT, I don't think the Goalie was the issue. I'll say Vokoun isn't perfect, I watched him for years in Nashville. He will make some mistakes, especially because I think he has always tried to handle the puck way too much. If letting in two goals gets you benched, Fluery would of been out of the NHL years ago with how many he lets in
It wasn't a serious question.
I love how Tuukka never gets mentioned as a top goalie. Hes been in the top 5 for save percentage both of his full time seasons. He got snubbed on the vezina bad. You also saw he out played king henrick so far in the series. Not surprised the Bs are up by two games with the way Tuukka has played these playoffs. Cant wait for Iggy to play against the team he turned down, should lead to some great story lines an games. Will be a grinding series and i see it going like the philly series last year if it Bs Pens in the ECF

I'm not sure if it's the talent of Pittsburgh's forwards or if Karlsson simply isn't fully healthy because he can't stay with anyone.
To be quite honest, after game 1, Rask literally had to carry Boston out of that series, otherwise it would have ended in game 6 with Toronto winning. I still feel we got robbed of a win in game 4, however Rask has the major issue of blowing up when the team in front of him is playing like shit. He needs to learn to have some control of his temper if he hopes to win the Vezina.
well he's mostly been a backup or platooned up to this point, he is only just starting to establish himself, this season was the first time he started the majority of his team's games so he's only going to get more attention going forward, these playoffs could be his jumping off point
As f a former college hockey player I hated Thomas as a goalie and thought Rask should have been starting sooner. Thomas was always out of position forcing him to make saves. He was also aided by a defensive system that protected him. Rask is a more standard goalie who doesnt need to look flashy. I would hate playing in front of Thomas as he always was a circus in net. Rask was young and Julien hates young players or he would have started. He carried them in round one and is doing it again.
I know that I, and many others, were not concerned that Thomas was quitting, I'm pretty sure Rask was on the cusp or replacing him anyway and it made things easier. I also had the opinion that Rask was better than Thomas so it was nice to see the potential awkwardness avoided.
I still can't believe we traded Rask for Raycroft. Look at the difference in careers now, last I heard Raycroft was playing hockey in some D league in Italy, probably a beer league more then anything (or wine if you are Italian), Rask is the starter for Boston. It's amazing how the fortunes of two teams would have changed had that deal not been done.
