I just walk away mumbling something since I am usually busy and I do not pay attention.

I stick with the typical "you too". Occasionally I add a "thanks" to the beginning for no discernible reason compared to when I don't.
On a side note, when leaving my favorite Chinese take-out place one day, the owner told us to "have day" which was somewhat fun. Of course if you ask her what type of sauce something is she typically responds with "it bumpy" so there ya go.
That and I hate when a cashier says "Have a nice day and come back and see us" and I unthinkingly respond with "you too" and promptly want to /facepalm.Last edited by Spritely; 2011-04-16 at 03:19 AM.
