I just hope they have removed the random gear bags from PvP.

I hope you haven't forgotten my role in this little story. I'm the leading man. You know what they say about the leading man? He never dies.

It's about the only thing I'm good at, however useless it may be - I'm good at remembering things from Family Guy, American Dad, South Park, Futurama... probably also shows like Two and a Half Men and Big Bang Theory.

The random loot bags from PvP still sound like an artificial bloat to make PvP progression seem longer that it actually is, that's just me though.

Did I just start a Sylvari shitstorm because I said I wanted GW2 babies?
I didn't even say it with Sylvari in mind ;o
Now you got me thinkin...
You still need 4 items to make 1 in the mystic forge. Why remove the option to be able to buy the piece you want instead of having to go through the mystic forge?
To bad Im only interested in one profession.
The random loot bags are like going into a clothing store where the only thing you can buy is a pre made bags of all types of clothes from baby clothes to women clothes to XXL male clothes. It really makes no sense.
sylvari babies are seeds
or the very early stages of a sylvari.. sylvaran... idk wthell it's called but the early stages of a sylvari in a pod i guess
I really dont buy this.
As I said, you dont go into a store looking for a sweater and the only thing you get is a random clothing bag which just happens to have clothes you cant use. There is no fun in that at all.
If they count on that everyone will have to use the mystic forge to get what they want then the system is obviously flawed.
I don't know everything there is to know about pvp.....but can't you get gear another way? As in you get glory besides the random loot and you use that to buy gear...or something similar?
You can craft gear too...I mean, it's not like everyone will have to use the mystic forge to get what they want........there's other ways.....so the system doesn't seem flawed to me.

For pvp you have the runes which are free and you can place in all PvP gear. You start out with "Glory 0" gear. The only way to get other looks on your gear is to buy bags with random gear for glory. There is no other way to get different gear for your profession except being lucky with the drops from the bags.
Imagine if they changed the system so that you get a random bag instead when you finished a dungeon with all gear in the game in it. Except in PvP you dont get any other loot while you PvP.Tokens are awarded after completing a Dungeon, allowing players to choose their reward.
